Hello,

My name is Grace Mailey and for the past three years, I have taken part in the Leads Certificate program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, beginning in the spring of 2017. I have a major in Psychology and minor in Biology. I joined this program because I thought it was a great opportunity for me to learn about leadership and shape my own leadership style.

During my last year at HWS, I was chosen to be a senior intern in the Office of Admissions. After working in the office for three years as a tour guide, I was excited to take my leadership role to the next level by working more intimately with the admissions counselors. In this position, I was given the opportunity to better my communication skills and was given the opportunity to work independently.
